Do You Think George Soros is Behind the Pro-Palestine Protests?

Here’s the Scoop

George Soros, the notorious billionaire left-wing investor, is once again in the spotlight as allegations surface that his vast wealth is behind the wave of radical anti-Israel protests springing up across American college campuses.

The protests, which began at Columbia University, have quickly spread nationwide, with tent cities appearing at esteemed institutions such as Harvard, Yale, Berkeley, Ohio State University, and Emory.

The common thread? They are all being orchestrated by branches of the Soros-funded Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP).

Some protests are even led by paid radicals, “fellows” of the Soros-funded US Campaign for Palestinian Rights (USCPR). This organization, which has received at least $300,000 from Soros’ Open Society Foundations since 2017, offers generous stipends to its fellows in exchange for their commitment to organizing “campaigns led by Palestinian organizations.”

These fellows are trained to “rise up, to revolution,” and they are taking that message to heart. At Yale, USCPR’s fellow Craig Birckhead-Morton was arrested for first-degree trespassing during an occupation of the school’s plaza. At Berkeley, Malak Afaneh, co-president of the Berkeley Law Students for Justice in Palestine, has become a serial speaker at an anti-Israel protest on campus.

The money from Soros and his hard-left acolytes has been instrumental in fueling these protests. The cash trail, as revealed by The Post, shows a complex network of nonprofits that help to obscure the contributions made by Soros and other supporters like Felice Gelman, a retired Wall Street banker turned pro-Palestinian activist.

While Soros and his Open Society Foundations maintain that their funding activities are legal and part of a commitment to open debate, it seems clear that their support is aiding a radical agenda that seeks to undermine Israel and promote a one-sided narrative of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

One has to question whether this manipulation of young minds, using the weapon of vast wealth, is truly in the spirit of fostering peaceful resolution and open debate.
