Here’s the Scoop
House Republicans are turning up the heat on President Biden’s scandal-ridden family, officially recommending criminal charges against Hunter and James Biden.
Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-KY) minced no words in his letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland, stating both men “made provably false statements” to impede the impeachment inquiry targeting President Joe Biden.
The allegations are damning. Hunter Biden stands accused of perjury and of falsely distancing himself from Rosemont Seneca Bohai, LLC, a company entangled in millions of dollars from foreign entities during Joe Biden’s vice presidency.
The letter asserts, “Hunter Biden falsely distanced himself from a corporate entity — Rosemont Seneca Bohai, LLC — and its bank account.”
James Biden isn’t off the hook either. He allegedly lied about meetings with Tony Bobulinski, a former business associate, who testified that both Bidens perjured themselves.
James Biden’s testimony that he didn’t attend a key meeting with Joe Biden and Bobulinski in 2017 was “contradicted not only by Mr. Bobulinski, but Hunter Biden.”
The implications are staggering. Hunter Biden is already battling criminal charges that could land him in prison, and now Congress is pushing for additional charges based on his Congressional deposition.
The GOP lawmakers urge the DOJ to “consider Hunter Biden’s prior alleged criminal activity” when weighing these new charges.
The walls are closing in on the Biden family, and it’s time for justice to prevail.
