Hunter Biden Guilty on All Counts. Should He Receive Jail Time?

Here’s the Scoop

The liberal media can no longer shield Hunter Biden from the truth. A Delaware jury has found the president’s son guilty of three felony gun charges, exposing his long-hidden history of drug addiction and reckless behavior. Despite his not-guilty plea, the evidence was irrefutable: Hunter Biden was using narcotics while in possession of a firearm, a blatant violation of federal law.

As the verdict was read, Hunter Biden merely nodded, a small acknowledgment of his undeniable guilt. The trial, the first of its kind involving the offspring of a sitting president, has cast a long shadow over Joe Biden’s re-election campaign. Jill Biden, notably absent during the verdict reading, rushed to comfort her son afterward. This family drama unfolds while the nation watches, questioning the standards of justice and accountability.

Two of the counts carry maximum prison sentences of 10 years each, while the third could add another five years. Although federal guidelines suggest a sentence of over a year, the judge has the discretion to impose a harsher penalty. Each count also carries a hefty fine of up to $250,000.

In a statement, President Biden said he and Jill “love our son” and are “proud of the man he is today,” a sentiment that rings hollow considering the gravity of the charges. The president has vowed not to pardon Hunter, but can we trust a father to remain impartial?

The trial featured shocking testimonies from Hunter’s former romantic partners, revealing the depths of his drug addiction. Prosecutors presented damning evidence, including text messages and photos of Hunter using drugs, to prove he was a chronic user during the gun purchase. “The evidence was personal, it was ugly, it was overwhelming,” said prosecutor Leo Wise.

Hunter’s defense argued that he didn’t “knowingly” violate the law, claiming he didn’t consider himself an addict at the time of the gun purchase. But even Hunter’s own writings betray him. His book details his struggles with addiction, a reality hard to deny.

This verdict is a clarion call for justice. Should Hunter Biden be held accountable like any other American, or will his last name shield him from the consequences of his actions? The American public deserves an answer.
