Here’s the Scoop
In a shocking display of parenting negligence, images of an infant lying on the floor at the Paris stop of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour have sparked an online uproar. The photos were initially circulated by a Swift fan account, @jacnights13, though the original post has since been expunged from the platform.
This hasn’t stopped the image from going viral, as countless other social media users have shared the photo, which depicts the infant sleeping on a coat amidst standing concert-goers at the La Défense Arena. Outrage has ensued, with users voicing their concerns for the child’s safety.
“Not to be one of those people but I would genuinely call security if I saw a baby in the pit because it is NOT safe there,” the original poster had written.
This sentiment was echoed by another user whose post garnered 1.8 million views, expressing the blunt opinion that the parent should “get ur baby off the floor and GO HOME.”
The arena’s website cautions against bringing young children to the venue, particularly due to the loud volume. Notwithstanding, the infant in the photos appeared to be sporting ear protection.
