Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders of Arkansas has delivered a powerful punch to the Biden administration’s ludicrous expansion of Title IX protections. The brave Republican leader is spearheading a growing coalition of states refusing to kowtow to this federal overreach.

The Biden administration’s attempt to redefine sex discrimination to include sexual orientation and gender identity has been categorically rejected by Sanders, who astutely points out the absurdity of the new rules.

Sanders fears, and rightly so, that this could lead to men competing in women’s sports, invading women’s and girls’ private spaces, and unjustly claiming women’s scholarships.

The Governor has ordered schools to uphold state laws that safeguard the privacy and rights of students, preventing transgender students from using restrooms, locker rooms, and participating in sports teams that do not align with their biological sex.

Sanders unflinchingly warned the Biden administration, “We will not comply.” This defiance is echoed in over a dozen Republican-led states, who are challenging the legality of the new Title IX regulations.

Sanders’s executive order is not just a war cry, it comes with a threat of legal action against the administration for any financial loss incurred due to the Biden administration’s unscientific agendas.

The Biden administration seems to be more interested in pushing its own subjective agenda than upholding the law. Sanders, on the other hand, is standing firm, enforcing state laws and protecting the state’s rights.

The Biden administration’s rule is not yet finalized, but Sanders and other GOP leaders have made it clear – they will not stand by and watch this federal overreach play out. They’re ready to fight and we applaud them for it.
